Labradorite is a fascinating mineral, having the ability to display iridescent colors depending on its position. This colorful play of light is called labradorescence. The faceted gemstone in this pendant appears smoky grey until the play of light across its surface displays a strikingly intense blue. It is truly one of a kind.

The gemstone is set in a gorgeous handcrafted Sterling Silver setting that measures 2-1/4" in length and 1-1/4" at its widest point.

To complement it, I created a necklace of iridescent peacock grey cultured pearls, separated by tiny Labradorite beads. The necklace measures 19-1/2", not including the pendant, and closes with a Sterling Silver toggle clasp.
