This is a very rare piece and the only one of its kind that I'm aware of. It's a Burmese glass fish made by Dave Fetty of the Fenton Art Glass Company. Dave has made a few glass fish, but no other Burmese. Burmese glass has real gold in the formula and goes through a sensitive reheating processes that causes the pink 'blush' to appear. Just added to our site is a Fenton Art Glass black console bowl handpainted with delicate pink roses and rosebuds by very talented former Fenton designer, Martha Reynolds. Martha's artistic talent is very highly regarded and she now works independently, commanding very high prices for her works. This lovely piece is in excellent condition, with a beautiful copper outline around the edge of the bowl. As you can see in the second picture, the back is signed, 'Handpainted by M. Reynolds'.

This is an older Fenton piece made of their signature cranberry glass, which contains pure gold in the formula. It is a 5 1/2 inch tall cologn with a ruffled crystal edge around the opening, It has no flaws, other than the fact that it is missing its stopper.

This is a rare piece that was never in Fenton's regular line. They never produced the thumbprint pattern in Topaz Opalescent (vaseline glass) in their regular line. This piece has very nice opalescence around the rim and no Fenton logo, so it is pre-1970's. It stands 5 inches tall and is in excellent condition.

This lovely pair was made by Fenton for Levay in the 1980's. It's a creamer and sugar in the color called Topaz Opalescent, also known as vaseline glass. The pattern on the glass is called hobnail. These are in perfect condition. The creamer stands 3 3/4 inches tall and the sugar is 5 1/2 inches tall to the finial on the lid. The Fenton logo is on all three pieces. Only 400 sets were made.

This wonderful piece of Fenton Art Glass is from their 2003 Connoisseur Collection. It is made of Burmese glass, which contains pure gold in the formula and gets reheated to create the pink 'blush'. The name of the handpainted design on this basket is Song Sparrow and it includes a sparrow looking down on its nest, which is set amongst branches loaded with berries. Here is another piece which I believe was made in the early 1980's as a test/experimental piece when Fenton was working on their formula for Favrene glass. It is called a melon bowl and is 3 1/2 inches tall and 5 3/4 inches wide. It is made of cobalt glass and has a soft purple glow to the exterior. The top edge feels rough, like stretch glass and the inside looks kind of like glossy stretch glass. It feels smooth to the touch. This beautiful lamp is made of Fenton glass in the French Opalescent Coin Dot Pattern. There are two pieces of Fenton glass in the lamp and they have been decorated by Abels Wasserman and Company in the 1940's. This was part of what was called The Charleton Line. The lamp is 20 inches tall to the top of the fount and in excellent working condition with gold highlights, pink roses and blue forget-me-nots. The brass could use some polishing. Not an easy piece to find.

This 5 1/4 inch tall Fenton Art Glass cat is made of Favrene glass, which has pure silver in the cobalt blue glass formula. It has a pretty soft silverish hue. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The bottom has Scott Fenton's signature printed on it.

Here are three clear glass drawer knobs in very good conditon. They are each 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches from the front to the back. The screws are 2 1/8 inches long. Guaranteed vintage - there is even some old paint on the backs. Only one small, hard to notice, chip at the base of one.

This tree is a sample item, with the department 17 sticker on it. The glass color is Periwinkle blue, which is a historic color Fenton brought back for 2004, but will not be making in the future. Periwinkle is a heat sensitive glass, so there are variations in the blue color on the piece, almost like slag glass. The color is slightly darker than my photo, as the flash lightened it up a bit. Here we have a pretty glass egg by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The handpainted design is called Watercolors, and it is made up of pretty pastel colored flowers on a light pink opaque satin glass. This is a Fenton Art Glass vase in a color called Periwinkle. It is a heat sensitive glass and looks like slag glass with the variations in the shading. This item is a Favrene glass owl figurine made by the Fenton Art Glass company. Favrene glass is similar to Tiffany's favrile - it has silver in the formula. The base color of the glass is cobalt blue. Reheating the glass causes the silver to come to the surface and the color becomes a silvery blue. It is a very heat-sensitive process and requires great skill and just the right formula. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is 5 1/4 inches tall.
