This is quite large and an excellent example with super detailing and a plethora of unique items. This is on of the finer multi-treed Meissen figural groups I have had....to provide plenty of shade for the lovers of course. It dates to the 3rd-4th quarter of the 19th century and is in overall surprisingly excellent condition with the usual few leaf chips and the small chip to the tip of the sheep's ear....all small and really inconsequential. A couple of pieces are taped to the base....probably leaves, and there may be a few leaf repairs(colored green) in the trees, but no repairs or damages to the main figures, the flower basket, hat, lance, base or anything else I am forgetting. The detailing is of course all hand painted and rather realistic and much better than most. The flowers and basket are finely detailed and multi colored as you can see. This measures 10 1/2" long, 6 1/2" wide, and 9 1/2" tall. There is even a loaf of bread behind the lovers in a real leather pouch that you can see from behind or above. A great substantial example.
