Large 7 piece signed Harvey Probber bedroom suite consisting of pair of night stands(24" wide) a credenza with storage and dual sliding caned doors and 3 drawers(42 1/4" long), a four drawer chest(36" wide), a large 9 drawer dresser(70 1/2"), a 3 legged table that looks to attach to something but I am not sure what, and a small mirrored vanity bridge that suspends in between your choice of pieces(26 1/8" wide and 5 1/2" deep). All pieces except the vanity bridge are approximately 30 1/2" tall and all are about 18" deep(which does include the vanity). The wood is a light mahogany and contrasts nicely with the bright white interiors of some drawers and interiors. Simple modern brass pulls. This set was originally purchased in the 60s. It is in very good original condition with some expected wear upon close inspection to a few pieces. Some pitting on top of large dresser(see photo), and the half dresser has some rub indents(four upon close inspection with 2 more noticeable)....I mention these as otherwise this looks to be in excellent condition otherwise. A great set for use for a modernist to fine contemporary decor....very neutral and will work with lots of decors. Heavy and solid, works extremely well with Eames and other mid century modern. Go compare sawdust and glue at any so called furniture store....it will be new, but when the new stuff goes back to sawdust....this will still be decorating someones room!
