This a gorgeous Vintage Chenille Bedspread! The background is a crisp white with contrasting Shades of Pinks and coordinating touch of Mint Green.

This Chenille Bedspread, from the 1940’s – 1950’s, will fit a Queen or Full Size bed. It measures 96” wide x 108” long. Also, there is a 3” long white fringe on three sides. The corners are slightly rounded and it hangs beautifully. The configuration of the tufted, cotton yarns, create an overall attractive pattern (I have always loved these spreads with a pattern you can lineup to make the bedmaking so much easier!). I also like the fact that this spread is long enough to tuck over the pillows, for a more formal look. Or, the pillows can be placed on top to create a more relaxed ambiance.

This Vintage Bedspread is in overall Excellent Condition and very well made. The only flaw I could find, is a very small (about 1/8” long) spot. It was after several inspections that I even noticed it, but I did want to mention it.

This medium weight chenille bedspread will coordinate wonderfully with a Vintage, French Country décor; or that pretty Shabby Romantic, Cottage look. With whatever décor, you will be proud to display this piece of heritage, in your home. On the cover of one of my monthly magazines, it features using Vintage Chenille Bedspreads as a table cover, and also draped over a sofa for a cozy coverlet. What a great idea!
