Gorgeous antique brass 19th century English wall hanging was probably the backplate for a book or dish stand or rack based on the two holes on either side in the leaf motif at bottom many years prior. Today the acorn,floral and leaf design along with the intricate scrollwork makes a stunning piece for the wall above or below pictures,etc. or as a stand alone. Easily hung with two nails inside the scroll work at the top. Excellent condition,beautiful patina. Measures 13.5L X 12.5H X .5D.
