Deep burgundy with black brown shading on this Italian C.1900 crocodile pocket secretary or wallet with check book cover application. Gorgeous skin with graduating size which appears as smooth as alligator. Tiny air holes beside some skin defines the difference. Purchased from an Italian estate where the piece was stored for many decades and either never used or very seldom as all stitching surrounding the exterior as well as the interior compartments in excellent condition as is the suede interior and skin exterior. Five long compartments,6 short for credit cards,license and one 3/4 long compartment as well. Measures 7L X 3.5W X .5 D. Handsome piece for man or woman.
