Handsome dual weighted glass square inkwells with black and gold screw on lids. Crown motif in the center of each on this mid 19th century English desk accessory. Housed in two leather books with gold tooling. Leather interior as well with cut outs for the ink wells and trough for pen. The books are hinged with ribbon on either side. Minor scuffs to leather as well as worn edges to the book fronts adding masculine character to the aged dark brown patina. Measures 2.75H X 8.75L X 3.5D.
