Multi-sided footed brass and glass 19th century dresser or vanity box from France. Ornate brass motif on lid with acorn shaped handle. Removable brass collar with swags,ribbon and floral swags,torch with wings adorn the center delicate brass section with laurel leaf and tied ribbons below. Mythological large winged birds form the feet attached to the brass base. The antique glass is stunning with the multi sides adding to the reflection. The brass has not been polished but certainly could be if a brighter sheen is desired. Excellent condition. Measures 6H X 6W X 6L.
