Early 1900's oval Italian metal bowl or planter has two large handles either end. Raised leaf and swag design on interior and exterior with ribbed 1/2 inch lip and ribbed oval base. Bits of verdigris show beneath the exterior brown with black shading. Wonderful size for display of fruit or flowers or alone atop a stack of books for a Roman classical display on chest or table. Excellent condition,not totally symmetrical as many hand made items are not. Measures 17L with handles X 10W X 5.75H.
