Pair of Italian chalk bookends early 1900's covered in dark red leather with gold decorative tooling. Crown and shield design,center of front and back.The leather is a deeper darker red than the photos show,a very good antique look. Rich brown leather spine and edging along the red with wonderful gold tooling on spine. Very minor wear as to edge scuffing,felt on both bases. No cracks or chips. A handsome pair for any office or bookcase. Measure 6.5H X 2.25L X4.25D.
