Large Louis XV bench from France late 19th century. Wonderful antique cream painted finish to blend with any decor with bits of the wood showing through below. Outstanding carving of acanthus leaf and floral on all four sides of apron,high cabriole legs,escargot feet and large curved bolster arms. Springs and burlap covered seat in excellent condition ready for new upholstery. The wide seat makes an excellent bench for the end of the bed or out in a room. Sturdy and very well made. Measures 50L X 24D X 28.5H.
