Pair of gorgeous French 19th century bergere chairs have tufted backs and covered in the deep rose mohair. The fabric is either original or been on the chairs for some time but the tufting is certainly something to replicate with new upholstery.Good condition,just a bit dingy here and there. Antique deep cream frames with tiny bits of the wood showing through.Ornate hand carving on the open work back,apron and short legs. The springs are tight and padding wonderful making them extremely comfortable. Excellent condition aside from the mohair which is in good condition,just a bit dingy. Measure 38H X 29.5L X 35D.
