Gorgeous walnut early 1900's burl bed footboard with elaborate center open work carving of acanthus leaf swags and urn. Deep antique cream yellow additional carving along the top edge as well as the feet either side. Can be used either as the existing state or by cutting the lower section of feet off above for a a bed headboard ,canopy header ceil de lit with fabric flowing behind or above a fireplace as wall hanging above the mantel or creating the mantel in a unique way. Excellent condition. Measures 57L X 20H X 1.5D.
