Gorgeous pair of walnut bergere chairs from France C.1920. Carving and acanthus leaf carving on center back,front,knees,arms and feet as well as along the scrolled apron lines. The back of the chairs has walnut running vertically in two sections on front and back. Although the upholstery is not in bad condition it does have several flaws so that new upholstery is all that is needed as the frames are in excellent condition as are the springs and all padding. Wonderful size for bedroom or living area. Measure 32H X 27.5L X 28D.
