Durable,sturdy and thick maple drop leaf table was hand made C.1850-55. The two rolled ends are made of a solid piece of birds eye maple which gives a beautiful lighter blonde contrast from the maple colored table. Ball and post turned legs,Top displays the handsome grain. The furniture maker filled a knot hole in center when crafted with a small rectangle of maple,perfectly smooth and even with the top in the same tone. The tables' aged rich patina has a hand rubbed finish. Fabulous condition. Measures 29H X 42L X 20.5W closed. Each leaf is 16.25D which makes a 53 inch length when open. Multiple uses with the 2 leaves and size.
