French 19th century lithograph coloring is vibrant in a wooded scene with a very young couple on horseback and mother. Dressed in the costume of the day. The antique cream mat has been French matted by hand with powder bands 5/8 inch border in soft green and lined with ruling pen in deep blue. Dark antique gold ornate wood frame. The lithograph title seen at bottom is "La Rencontre Au Bois De Boulogne" Planche VIII. The aged thin paper backing is missing in spots revealing the aged nails used to hold the glass and lithograph. Measures 19H X16W X .50D. Excellent condition.
