Quaint metal ink well C.1890-1900 is hand painted with green and purple along the outlying scrolls and an antique cream background as well as the arms of the raised pen rest. Heavy weighted glass ink vessel with facet cut bottom is held secure with four metal flanges. Decorative top on the hinged bottle and collar matches the tray. Painted pink inside of the cap matching the back of the tray. Tiny loss of paint around the hinge in back and left flange on tray shows gold beneath,otherwise excellent condition. Measures 7L X 2.25H X 5D.
