Wonderful sturdy needlepoint mahogany carved chair C.1900 perfect size for a vanity or desk such as vanity EA3118. Gives a bit higher support than the typical French vanity chair but narrow enough to fit in a feminine desk or vanity. Carved double iris in the scrolled back with additional at seat.Needlepoint in dark brown needlepoint background in excellent condition,roses center in pink,rose and green leaves. Antique gold gemp around outline of scrolled seat. Tapered legs with minimal flared foot. Extremely comfortable and sturdy. Measures 37H X 15.75D X 17 L at two longest front points.
