Small 3 drawer Italian bombe chest C.1920 is made of oak showing a slight indication of this on the top only,wonderful patina and richness to the hand rubbed finish on the front and sides as well.An abundance of raised carving in panels front and flared sides with mitered corners and additional carving. Open work oyster motif center bottom other interesting bits of detailed carving throughout. Tiny brass knobs on top shallow drawer and brass rectangular pulls on the two deeper drawers. Just the right size and height to use as a side table and chest beside bed or sofa as well as a stand alone piece. Excellent condition,few minute flecks of white paint on top where someone did not cover completely while painting a surrounding wall. Easily removed if desired,exaggerated in photo . Measures 27.5H X 11.5D X 23L.
