Hard to find small walnut refractory table from France C.1940. Basket weave design on the top when closed,leaves are solid walnut with 2.5 inch banding on the three sides and the walnut grain in view. Large scrolled apron, high cabriole legs. Wonderful for smaller living areas as can be used as a small table closed or seating for 2 or the leaves pulled out on thick walnut slides when desired for dining, etc for four. A stunning set when paired with the 4 Louis XV walnut chairs pictured,item CE2584AZ. Excellent condition. Measures 28.75H X 23.5W X 31.5L closed,52L open. Height from floor to bottom of apron 21.5.
