1985 Bing & Grondahl Mors Dag / Mother’s Day Plate – Mother Bear with Cubs

A sweet decorative plate from Bing & Grondahl’s Mother’s Day series, issued in 1985 and titled Mother Bear with Cubs. In the characteristic bas-relief, blue on white underglaze technique, this limited edition plate was created by artist Henry Thelander. The bottom rim reads Mors Dag 1985 (Mors Dag translates to Mother’s Day).

In excellent condition, plate measures approx. 6" in diameter and is designed with two holes in the bottom rim for hanging as a wall decoration. Marked 9385, with the B&G Copenhagen Porcelain – Made in Denmark logo. In original box, with papers/certificate.
