Anyway you look at it, this jack in pulpit art glass vase is a striking, sensuous beauty, bright and bold in a passionate red and golden yellow! Seeming to be a modern art glass version of yin and yang, a view from the front leaves an open, welcoming feminine impression, while a turned view suggests a bold masculine virility. The open petal top has a red lining trimmed in yellow, while the vase body is yellow, having various, large red and white Millefiori canes adding a splash of stretched color.

With a warm, satiny finish, this hand blown vase stands 17" high, with a bulbous base width at approx. 6" in diameter. Underside has an impressed mark of the Russian-influenced creator, E. Zarah (Essie Zareh, from Azerbaijan, south of Russia, on the coast of the Caspian Sea) with a round Baijan label.

In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks. (You'll want to replace the missing felt pad on the underside.) Prepacked weight: 4 lbs.
