The story told by this plate -- Working in the Kitchen -- is a story of the intangible gift of a wife and mother's love. Tirelessly working the day away, she now sits at the kitchen table, filling the oil lamps while the evening's tasks line the background and wait their turn.

This wonderful plate was produced by Edwin M. Knowles in 1983 for the Bradford Exchange as the ninth plate in the limited edition collection of Norman Rockwell's Rediscovered Women.

Plate measures 8-1/2" in diameter. In excellent condition, with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. In original box with Certificate of Authenticity. Literature copyright of 1983; box shows a postmark of Mar 23 '84.
