1961 Royal Copenhagen "Danmark" The Training Ship Christmas Plate

One of a number of porcelain Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates I have available, this 1961 plate designed by Kaj Lange gives us a look at the large, three-masted Danmark, a ship constructed in the early 1930s and used for training the Danish Merchant Marine.

Plate designed with two holes in the bottom rim for hanging as a wall decoration. Marked Royal Copenhagen – Denmark – Kai Lange. Measures 7” in diameter; in excellent condition.
