SOLD Retro HOBE Demi Parure w/ Mesh Scalloped Choker & Earrings

This set is perfect for spring and summer with its airy mesh setting and multi-pastel rhinestones. The stunning contemporary design has folded mesh disks (like upside down tacos) outlined by iridescent pastel stones in pink, green, purple, blue and yellow. The earrings actually have a waterfall of three rhinestone strands dropping down form the corner of the folded disk. It is no wonder Hobe was the jewelry of choice among Hollywood in the 1950s (Costume Jewelry by Rezazadeh p 88) the quality and workmanship is superb and lives up to Hobe’s claims that each piece is handmade in its entirety.

Condition: Excellent condition having no missing stones. Stones all appear to be free from chips and have good clarity. The goldtone setting shows only the most minimal wear in a few places on the back side but mostly—it just looks new out of the box!
