This gorgeous trio of half dolls have art deco style painted faces and blonde hair (with netting still in place) and their dresses and umbrellas have been lovingly restored. All of their bodies, hair and frames are original as well as lamp fixtures and cords. The original fabric and trim that covered them was beyond repair and the new fabric, gauzy lace and trim were selected carefully to emulate the same style and color of the previous garments. The skirt and umbrella shades are made out of a transparent olive taupe color. The bottom hems of the umbrellas and skirts are trimmed in a looped-scalloped gold metallic and black threads. My favorite part is the bodice and ruffled waists done in a matching gauzy ruffled material (much like the ribbon art picture doll dresses). This trim is then lined with a trim that resembles mauve roses and leaves. See all of the pictures for close-ups of these materials. The two vanity table or end table lamps still have fixtures in them for the bulb but no wiring. The headboard lady has a fixture and the old cord. She works but due to concerns over flammability these should only be used as decorative pieces unless professionally rewired using low wattage bulbs. Condition: The dolls themselves are in excellent condition having no chips, cracks or repairs. Their hair is excellent and even has the original netting still in place. The paint is also very good having just a few chips to the surface of the paint on the back of the dolls (see pictures) They are like new having their outfits and umbrellas totally redone as described previously. Due to safety concerns these lamps should only be used decoratively until professionally rewired and used with the proper bulbs.
