French 1930's 4 Pc. Bedroom Set

Serene elegance distinguishes a four piece French style bedroom set from about 1940, including a full or double size bed, night stand, large dresser with mirror and tall chest on chest. This wonderful vintage furniture is glowing walnut with matched burl drawer fronts and subtly carved details, all in wonderful condition.

The finish is superb, embossed brass hardware is all original, and there is ample storage. The dovetailed drawers are finished inside, there is even a cedar lined and covered drawer in the base of the tall chest. Signed in a drawer, "Joern's Bros., Stevens Point, Wis," this little known furniture maker produced exceptional quality.

The bed is 57" wide and 81" long, the headboard is 46" tall and the footboard is 20" high. The bedside table is 18" wide, 14" deep and 28" tall, measurements of the wide dresser are 5'7" wide, 22" deep, 6'4" tall, and the base is 35" high. The tall chest is 40" wide, 22" deep and 54" tall. B-B2089
