Eleventh Edition of the first in A. A. Milne's Christopher Robin series, a collection of children's poems titled,"When We Were Young," in near fine condition: published by Methuen & Co., London in 1925 (the First Edition was in 1924), size 8vo (7.7" x 5.3"), covers and spine original blue cloth, with illustrations to boards front and back gilt, titles to spine gilt, top edge gilt, pictorial endpapers front and back, and Ernest H. Shepard's delightful illustrations throughout. This book would be followed in turn by Winnie-the-Pooh, Now We Are Six, and The House at Pooh Corner, the four books comprising the entire series.

Though this is the Eleventh Edition, it is an early edition nonetheless, as Methuen published repeated editions during the years 1924-1925. But for minor shelf wear, the copy could be rated fine. It is a beautiful book.
