First Edition, First Impression of A. A. Milne's children's classic, "Winnie-the-Pooh" in very good condition: published by Methuen & Co., London in 1926, size 8vo (7.7" x 5.3"), covers and spine original green cloth, with illustrations to boards gilt, titles to spine gilt, top edge gilt, pictorial endpapers front and back of the "100 aker wood," and Ernest H. Shepard's famous illustrations throughout. There is very slight rubbing and shelf wear to the boards and the front endpaper is releasing from the book block. The gilt is intact and extremely clear and crisp.

Altogether a beautiful and rare First Edition copy of this treasured classic.
