Immaculate Tunbridge Ware 3-drawer cabinet. The canted lid and the single swing door are beautifully inlaid with floral and geometric tessellated mosaic, and at the center of the door is a lovely bird perched on a branch. The designs on the lid and the door are further enhanced by the addition of checker board stringing that frames the mosaic. The inside of the swing door has the original red velvet lining. There are three drawers with matching mosaic and turned ivory handles, each of which has the original pristine floral paper. The cabinet is raised on compressed bun feet, and at the base measures 6.0" in length by 3.6" in width and is 5.5" high, all the more desirable because of its diminutive size.

An extraordinary piece in all respects.
