These are beautiful Old World Style Candle sticks with a unique octagonal shape. They are a heavy brass with a wonderful mellow patina and wide formed bobeche. They are 11 3/4" in height and 5" in diameter at the base. One has old green velvet liner, but one is missing. probably long ago. I can find no mark on these, but they are quality made. Middle to late 1800's, maybe a little older. They are in great condition, no damage. I left them unpolished because of the great old patina. They lend a romantic Old World ambience to any dining experience.
