Wonderful Old Early Shoo Fly Screen Food Cover

Here’s an awesome old shoo fly screen that was used in olden days to keep pests off food. Now they are used to add a touch of authenticity and charm to country primitive decorating. This marvelous example measures 8 ½” – 9” in diameter. The screen mesh is in excellent condition with no damage. The cover retains it’s original wooden knob with tin base. The screen has held it’s shape nicely over the past 100+ years….great Granny took very good care of this one! Would look fabulous on your country harvest table.
