This beauty is in good condition with some age splits and a previous owner put a hook on the end, just right for hanging (easily removed if desired). Here's a marvelous old butter paddle or butter scoop, made out of maple wood, that measures approximately 14" long. This beautiful scoop has a mellow, warm, rich patina that only time can give. The paddle has been hand carved and then hand rubbed, bringing out a lovely low sheen. Exquisite form and shape gives this old butter paddle wonderful primitive display appeal. What a great old cutting board! This one is unusual because of the size ~ it measures only 8" x 10" and is just over 1/2" thick. This board has been used alot by great grandma in the summer kitchen! Lots of cut marks, nice rounded corners and beautiful age patina make this authentic board a gem to be displayed proudly in your country kitchen cupboard or counter top.

This is an oldie! This great old bowl measures about 12” in diameter and has the most gorgeous patina. The cut marks and burn marks verify it’s authenticity as a bowl that Great Granny used very often back in the olden days. This was a working bowl in her kitchen and has the marks to prove it! The thickness, incised rim, footed bottom, and heavy weight all attest to it’s age, probably from the late 1800’s-early 1900’s.
