Brave Heart Pony Necklace - Kyanite, Garnet, Raku and Sterling Silver

Fire in the Belly created this 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 inch Running Horse focal pendant using an ancient Japanese process called Raku that gives a beautiful iridescent finish to pottery. It's attached to the necklace with a fold over Sterling Silver Bail.

I used "A +" grade 8mm semi-precious Kyanite beads because of their deep silvery finish. Each one has a Sterling Silver bead on either side. Smaller free form semi-precious Red Garnet beads add drama. A Sterling Silver Lobster Clasp closes. It measures 18 inches with a two inch Sterling Silver Chain Extender.

I designed and handcrafted this beautiful necklace with great care, using only the finest elements and in an effort to express the free spirit of the pendant. My hope is it will become a truly treasured and lasting piece for its owner and draw compliments from many.
