The unusual African Kazuri Beads featured here are just over 3/4 inch rounded square and are lightweight for easy wearing. "Kazuri" means small and beautiful.

Kazuri beads are shaped, painted and kiln fired by tribal women from the clay of Mt. Kenya, Africa. The resulting beads are durable, beautiful, high-quality, and very special, with each one being different.

The Kazuri beads are hand-wrapped with Sterling Wire to the Sterling Silver Link Chain. Length from the top of Sterling Ear-wires is a full two inches. All other metal beads are Sterling Silver.

I designed and meticulously handcrafted this pair for women who enjoy wearing unusual adornments. They are a one-of-a-kind pair offered only at Gypsy Jewels by Sharon.
