The unusual 1 1/4 inch round ceramic Kazuri Pendant you see is from Kenya, Africa and difficult to obtain. Kazuri beads are each shaped by hand by tribal women from the clay of Mt. Kenya and are all one-of-a-kind. The beads are polished and kiln fired, hand painted and fired again.

The resulting beads are beautiful, high-quality, and very special. We are able to purchase them because of an International Fair Trade Agreement that provides fair wages and decent working conditions for these artistic craftswomen. I've hand-wrapped the pendant to the necklace with wire.

Flat beveled edge 1/2 x 3/4 inch semi-precious Tiger Jasper beads are spaced by Tiger Eye and Czech Glass beads. Measuring 20 1/2 inches, the necklace closes with a large hammered Toggle Clasp. All gold beads and wire are gold plated. The necklace is strung with 49 strand gold plated professional beading wire.
