About Us
Every Gypsy Jewel is lovingly and carefully designed and hand created in my home workshop in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. My goal for each piece is simple beauty, a connection with the natural world, excellent quality, and affordable prices for my customers. Gypsy Jewels creations are one-of-a-kind or limited addition (as will be stated).

I use semi-precious gemstones, Sterling Silver, Swarovski Crystals, Freshwater Pearls, African Kazuri Beads and many other fine components from around the world. I especially enjoy working with semi-precious gemstones because of the many texture, color and pattern variations among stones, even of the same kind. I'm constantly searching for the unique American Artisan Raku finished pottery pendants and beads I use in my special pieces.

I started making necklaces when I was a little girl, by threading my Grandma's empty wooden spools and buttons on string. I've been making "real" jewelry for several years and I love every minute I spend creating special and beautiful adornments for others.

Many necklaces and bracelets can be shortened (at no charge) if requested at the time of purchase. It is common for Fresh Water Pearls and Semi-Precious Stones to be heated or colored. This does not diminish their value but enhances their natural beauty. Many of my creations are sized to be worn by small, medium and generously sized women.

KEY:
s - Stabilized, usually with a resin
d - Dyed
ce - Color enhanced
Gold Vermeil - Sterling Silver with 22k gold overlay
Gold Filled - a thick coating of gold over other metal
Sterling Silver - .925 or greater pure silver
Thai Silver - 97 to 99 % pure silver

BRACELET SIZES:
Small - 7 inches - 7 ½ inches
Medium - 7 ½ inches - 8 ½ inches
Larger - 8 ½ inches - 9 inches

For snug fit, use the smaller number, for looser fit or larger bead sizes, use the larger number. Generally, you will want the bracelet size to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger than your wrist unless the beads are quite large (then add 1/4 to 1/2 inches additional length to get the best size).

All Gypsy Jewels pieces are cleaned prior to mailing, but we caution that small children not be allow to wear or play with beaded jewelry or to put it into their mouths.
