Durand Art Glass of Vineland, New Jersey only produced artistic glass for a period of seven short years between 1924 and 1931. Impressively, by 1926, Durand’s firm was

This choice green-rimmed example of a Durand candlestick in ambergris glass was called Spanish Yellow and the extensive use of this color line included stemware, compotes, candlesticks (like this one), and even complete dinner sets. For an example of this candlestick in Ruby and Spanish Yellow, see the book, Durand, The Man and His Glass by Edward J. Meschi, page 77. item 230.
