Although not signed, we think this pair of late nineteenth century patinated metal garniture vases look like they could be from a line of “Love Vases” by Auguste Moreau (1860-1910). (See the book, Bronze Sculptors & Founders 1800-1930, Vol III, ABAGE/Berman)

The baluster-form patinated metal vases with are decorated with cherub-faced cherry pickers that reach for red berries on green leafy branches. The handed vases sit on rouge marble bases with gilt metal feet.

Stands approximately 13” tall overall. This pair appears to have been well cared for and is in very nice condition with no restoration than an added screw under foot (see photo). Vase opening only extends approximately 2" before becoming solid. Each weighs about 5-1/2 pounds.
