This is an Edwardian Sterling Silver Glove Stretcher with beautiful decorative handles. The stretcher ends are probably made of steel and they seem a little bit worn, but this is very common in Stretchers. Both handles are replete with repousse scrolls and flowers and they have some light dents. They carry the makers and sterling hallmarks, as well as a date letter. This item is made in Chester in 1904.This lovely vanity tool has a place for initial engraving.
