Antique British Silver Sterling Match Safe/Vesta c.1898

This gorgeous antique c.1898 Match Safe/Vesta is intricately decorated with multiple scroll designs on both sides. This fine piece is in very good to excellent condition. Evidence of wear shows more in light surface scratches. There is a striker on the bottom and the match safe open and close perfect. The inside on the edge when you open the Vesta is full hallmarked with maker's mark, the lion passant, date letter ' P' for 1898, and the mark of Chester. There are also two marks on the outside lid, (the lion passant and the date letter) It measures approx. 2.1'' by 1.3''.

The pictures are very clear and you can see all the details about this wonderful, yet elegant and absolutely gorgeous Vesta. Perfect for the collector or as a super special gift !
