This is a beautifully designed British Silver Sterling Cigarette Case. It is in Very Good Condition and has only minor signs of use/age. The outside of the case, front and back, is decorated with an engine-turned engraving pattern. The central cartouche to the front bears the initials "MM". The interior is gilt or gold platted.

The Condition of the case is Very Good, almost Excellent. Just some age to the elastic ribbons, and the gold washed interior has few surface blemishes.

The Case measures 3.5'' X 3.9'', with a slight curve so that it fitted comfortably in the pocket or in the palm of your hand. It is full hallmarked with maker's mark, the lion passant, the anchor for Birmingham, and the date letter V for 1920.

This Cigarette Case would make the Perfect gift for anyone who loves the simple and elegant pieces from Art Deco Period.
