What a fun piece! This little girl is all decked out with a bow and she obviously knows who's boss! This pin is 1 1/4" long and made of silver-toned metal with a rollover safety clasp. She is unmarked and probably dates to the 1960-1970 era. There is a dab of enamel missing on the tip of the nose; we note no other condition issues. She has a red enamel eye and black enamel bow and nose. With her head turned haughtily to the left, she wears her breed superiority well!

What a lovely owl for your collection! Very wise is he, and smart, also. His goldstone belly is set of by the large red rhinestones and accented by tiny light brownish-yellow rhinestones. He measures 1 7/8" by 1 1/8" in a gold-tone setting with roll-over safety clasp. The brooch is unmarked and probably dates to the 1970s. We note a bit of finish wear at the tip of one ear.

We are pleased to offer this darling baby bird pin from Tortolani. Measuring 2" by 1 5/8", the bird is covered in bright green beads and also has a large faux pearl. The goldtone metal is in good shape save for an area on the branch where the plate has flaked off, and some darkening inside the head on the back. The brooch is signed © Tortolani in script on the back. This is one of the old marks that was used between 1950 until 1976. This brooch is pictured in "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry" ...

Everyone says so, it must be true! He is so adorable and well-behaved to boot. He is grey enameled with bright rhinestone accents. He measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" and has a very short pinback with a very tight rollover clasp. There is some wear to the paint along the sides of his butt and the tips of his ears. He won't eat much, and he tells clean jokes.

We offer this decidedly vintage figural brooch depicting a royal king in mid-stride. We have had some restoration work done on him. There have been rhinestones replaced. The pin measures 2" by 1 1/2"; at one time it appears to have been painted golden-color on the back but most of the paint is gone now. The pin clasp is very free-moving. He is a funny-looking king, not well-proportioned at all, but that could be the inbreeding showing.

The pinback is a rollover clasp and is in good working order, but does have a spot of wear on the metal clasp. The stones are bright and lively; the shiny silvertone finish has dark spots in a few places; the 'helmet' on the head wiggles a little from side to side, but is firmly attached. He is unmarked.

Similar to the other designer-signed bird brooch we have listed, this one is obviously trying to look as good, but just falls short. A few minor differences in the structure, but basically the same theme of a bird on a tree branch. It measures 1 7/8" by 1 1/2". The enameling is off-white and the Conehead bird has a green rhinestone eye and clear rhinestones decorate the torso. A cute piece, suitable for everyday wear.
