Beautifully detailed English "Rose Chintz " saucer with large dark pink open roses with sets of buds that abound on this ironstone saucer. Blue hand tinted periwinkles are also scattered throughout. This saucer is beautifully detailed with transfer and hand tinting underglaze and scalloped edges. It measures approximately 6" in diameter. Large backstamp with patent # 160.783. The popular pattern has been reissued and discontinued a few times over the years. Circa 1930-2003. This saucer is from the 1st generation. It has the dark pink mark with the hand tinters green mark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea-bites. This desirable saucer makes a beautiful addition to any table. Please check my shop for other Rose Chintz pieces.
