Porcelain : Flow Blue

 

This beautiful platter has gold trim around the rim with embossed design followed by a blue band and a floral design. It measures approximately 11 5/8" in diameter. The blue flows to the underside of the plate. There is a blue mark of Roxbury and England (on wings) and Ridgeway (looks like a rocket) and Royal , Semi-porcelain. There is also a 1 and 05 impressed on the underside. It is in great condition. There is some crazing and a little staining and some wear on the underside bottom rim. The gold trim shows a little wear. I could find no nicks, flea bites or cracks. Please note that due to the less than ideal conditions during the manufacturing process , that minor imperfections occurred that are not defects. Ash, dust, dirt and other materials sometimes got into the process and caused areas of imperfections. This is one of the methods used to authenticate the approximate time of manufacturing.
