Wonderful vintage large Sairey Gamp toby jug made by Royal Doulton, England. A character from the Charles Dickens 1843 novel, "Martin Chuzzlewit," Sairey Gamp is a gossiping, often tipsy gin-drinking midwife and nurse. It is the large size jug measuring approximately 6 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches from spout to handle. There is a spout on one side and the handle is in the form of an umbrella. Silhouette of reverse painting of a couple on a bridge. It is on convex bubble glass. It looks to be a picture background of the city of Venice. It is approximately 8 1/8" X 6 1/8". It is enclosed in a copper frame. It is in great condition. The frame shows some discoloration. There are a few black dots under the bridge and a small place on the black silhouette where you can see a couple of dots. Both of these are in the lower right hand corner. It is not very noticeable.

This hand painted duck that was made in Occupied Japan is a very nice collector piece. It has a yellow breast with back head and neck with a green band around it. It is in great condition with no chips or nicks. It does have some crazing but I think it adds to the character of the piece. It stands approximately 5 3/4" to the tip of the head. It is approximately 6 3/4" from the bill to the tip of the tail. The planter opening is 2 1/2" BY 1 1/2".

This handpainted Delft ashtray shaped like a Holland shoe is hand-signed S1020 Delfts Holland. On the indentation for the cigarette there are two metal pieces that look like two coins welded together. I am not sure of the exact letters but they appear to be Juliana Ko..ingin Dernederlanden on one coin and Ntillen 1963, 1/10 G Nederl on another coin. It has a handpainted windmill on the vamp. It is approximately 4 1/4" long and 2" tall. It is in great condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.

Attractive pewter Sake Serving set with pitcher and 7 small glasses. Pitcher and each glass is marked 'Royal Holland Pewter Daalderop, a symbol in a circle with K M D, Made in Holland. They are in great condition with no dents and a few slight surface marks. There is a cork stopper. The pitcher is approximately 6" to top of know and 4 1/2"wide.
