Pre-Christmas Doll Sale this Month! $25 Off & Free Shipping on all Ginny Dolls.
This is entitled "The Wright Cat" and was painted by E. Cox in 1979. The artist has captured the feline mystique and we can imagine the cat playfully batting the ball around before being interrupted by the 'camera'. The dignified expression tries to convince us that he is above all that.
The monotone background is done in shades of rose and orange and does not detract our eye from the lovely white cat. The blue eyes are intense and follow the viewer from all angles. I have photographed this in different lighting situations and will add more and better photos if and when the sun decides to shine in Ohio.
Nicely framed in a neutral colored wood with a white painted wooden trim piece. Signed on the back with title and artist's name and address.
Item ID: GM-001231
