Cheery Yellow Fiberboard Doll Chest or Dresser

This adorable small dresser measures just shy of 12" long, 5" deep, 7 3/4" tall and 13" in overall height. It is made of fiberboard, a glorified word for thick, layered cardboard. The pieces were stamped and assembled with tabs and slots...note the rounded protrusions on the edges. There is evidence of many layers of paint; drips of pink, blue and another shade of yellow on the back side and a faint green tint on the unfinished interior which could be over-spray from the original paint job or possibly the shade of the cardboard. The latest color is sunny yellow with a small hand painted floral accent at the top of the mirror frame and red wooden drawer pulls.

The condition of this is nice. It is surprisingly sturdy and sits squarely. The cardboard is thick and measures over 1/8" (.18 to be exact). There is a very slight bow on the drawer fronts and a design error that must be mentioned. The mirror frame has a tab on the bottom that slides into a slot on the top surface. This tab prevents the top drawer from sliding in as far as the bottom drawer. This difference is only the width of the cardboard but it is Very Annoying to an ex-engineer who has been tempted several times to trim this off...but I won't. The mirror itself is in bad condition with missing silver and dark streaks. I am actively searching for a replacement and will replace the vintage if and when I find one...or not..buyers choice.
