This painting of pompom shaped flowers is lovely. The pastel blossoms of white, pink and purple could represent Viburnum although we never seen these in colors. All things are possible in an artist's world and this painter has captured the essence of Spring in this painting. The flowers are artfully arranged in a glass vase and the bouquet is framed by a neutral rosy tan background.

Painted in an Impressionistic manner on 14" x 18" art board and signed "E. Massa" in lower right. The paint is thinly applied on the background with some impasto or paint build-up on the blossoms. It is in very nice condition with one paint chip, a small area of missing paint by the signature and a mar on the canvas at the top center. These imperfections are quite unobtrusive but must be mentioned.

The lovely frame measures 16 1/2" by 20 1/2" by 1 3/8" thick and is in excellent condition with tight miter joints and no mars or dents. The molded design of scrollwork and classic motifs is subtle and a perfect compliment to the painting. A very nice painting and ready to hang.
